Our next Country at Carmen show is coming up on Tuesday 20th October, and this one is a little different — a special Nashville Nights Takeover featuring four songwriters sharing the stories behind the songs in an intimate writers’ round.

Joining us will be:

Gary Quinn – An 8-time BCMA Award winner whose songwriting has seen him collaborate with writers including Brett James, William Michael Morgan, Trent Tomlinson, Ronnie Bowman and Steve Wariner. Gary’s songs combine traditional country storytelling with a modern Nashville edge.

Blue Foley – A Nashville-based, multiple Grammy-nominated songwriter with more than two decades in Music Row circles. Blue’s songs have been recorded by artists including Ashley McBryde, The Dirt Drifters and Craig Wayne Boyd, with his catalogue including more than 250 cuts. He is also the founder of Nashville Nights, created to champion songwriters and bring the writers’ round experience to audiences around the world.

Stiko – An award-winning Swedish singer-songwriter and storyteller with eight albums and more than 25 million streams to his name. His career has taken him from Scandinavia to Nashville, including performances at 3rd & Lindsley, and he has collaborated with American songwriters while developing his own blend of Americana and country.

Payton Taylor – A Nashville-honed singer-songwriter whose music mixes classic American roots influences with contemporary country. Known for her soulful vocals and strong storytelling, her songs include “Concealed Carrying,” “Carolina Lightning,” “Whiskey on My Wings” and “Shotgun and a Shovel.”

Rather than a traditional concert, the four artists will take turns performing songs and sharing the stories, inspirations and writing experiences behind them — exactly the kind of intimate Nashville-style evening Country at Carmen was created for.
