Jeremy McComb (usa)
Tues 15/09/2026 II Carmen Bar, Gtr Manchester
Jeremy McComb released his 7th album in October 2025, and we are delighted and can't wait to have him return to Carmen again!
“Where can we download the stories?!” - I hear this all the time…
Jeremy McComb has made his career with his ability to connect with an audience. “It’s my magic trick, it’s always kind of been the thing that sets me apart.” McComb shrugs with a grin. His live shows have become known for his ability to connect the songs and the audience with his story-telling.
“My goal is always to connect, but to be able to connect a laugh, story and an audience with a song or memory is something that I feel in love with, So I study comedians. With stand up there is nothing to hide behind, and so studying the greats like Carlin, Norm Macdonald, The smothers brothers has given me an insight on how I like to connect with a crowd.”
The connection is undeniable, the stories relatable and inappropriate in every way and the way they match to each song makes these songs hit even deeper.
“ I say whatever I think on stage, it’s dangerous but it’s a promise I made myself to say everything outlaid. It forces me to be honest, and I love the feeling of never knowing what’s going to happen next.”
“Somewhere in the middle… is the truth” was recorded live in “The Room” in Clinton Wisconsin, that he describes as: “one of his favorite listening rooms in the country”
